Our clubs run beginners and advanced classes for students wanting to learn this exciting sport. All SKU instructors are part of an ongoing instructor training programme and are CRB checked.

The syllabus we teach is laid down and governed by the Shukokai Karate Union (SKU), part of WUKF. The syllabus follows the traditional principals of karate with a particular emphasis on technique.

In addition to learning to punch, block, kick and strike we cover a variety of other defences against attack such as strangulation, attacks with weapons etc.

Our clubs are a great way to keep fit, gain confidence, learn self defence and achieve something new.

We also have many families who train at our clubs. It’s a great way to have some fun family time keeping fit & keeping the children entertained!
